What happens after the Purposeful Job Quest program finishes?
When you complete the capacity building program, or during, we will help you explore different work options that suit your needs. Sometimes it wont be the dream job you were thinking, but when you know that you need some extra experience, we can get that from different types of workplace.
No career was ever as straight as a ladder.
We run the Purposeful Employer Programs (PEP) with businesses interested in becoming more inclusive in their recruitment practices and their workforce. We can invite you to jump on board for a spot on one of these programs which is work immersion in group settings.
We can also provide you with on the job employment assistance to ensure that you keep your job and work with your employer to ensure they make necessary adjustments for you to keep your job.
Or your pathway may be a referral to a DES provider who can take you on a different route to your employment goal.
We will work with you and what you want to achieve.
How do I know if I can have access to NDIS Funding?
If you want to apply to the NDIS, connecting with a partner is a good first step. If you’re 9 or older it’s best to contact your
local area coordinator (LAC). LAC's will help you understand the eligibility requirements, and what information and identification you need to give us. They will help you apply to the NDIS by submitting the application on your behalf. This means you don’t need to complete the access request form yourself.
You can submit the access request form or to get started, visit the office location page on the NDIS website or call NDIA on
1800 800 110.
