Do you provide employment supports with NDIS funding?
Yes, we can invoice your NDIS plan for your capacity building and transition to work. We can also provide employment support, depending on your funding to ensure that you keep your job once you have settled in.

We can also provide services for SLES participants.

We can invoice Self Managed and Plan Managed Participants only, while we wait for our NDIS registration to be processed (this is taking some time, more than anticipated) but we will advise as soon as the registration process has been completed.

We cannot provide services to NDIA plan managed participants at this time while we await our NDIS registration.
Where do you deliver services?
The benefit of our service is that it can be delivered online, in your home or at a local community hub or library, while we coach you through your development.

The best delivery is in-person, so we get the best outcomes and can connect with your local community and employers.

We are based in Melbourne metropolitan, but depending on what employer programs we currently have, regional Victoria may be a possibility. Get in touch to find out where we currently are providing services.

Is this service a course?
Our service is NOT an accredited course. There is an online portal that we use as part of coaching tools to help build employability skill and capacity, this is with mentored guidance throughout.

You wont receive a qualification but we concentrate on outcomes.  You will receive more than a head full of information - we build your skills, understanding of you and help you develop your story with practical guidance that you need to find and keep a job.
Will you help me find a job?
We have a decade of experience working in employment programs coaching and mentoring people with disability to find and keep a job. We've run employer programs that have achieved 80% employment success for participants. We work with small numbers to ensure that we can help you where you need it the most.
What will I get as part of the service?
Discovery Session
We'll begin with a Discovery session to learn about you, your family, your support network, and your community. We’ll explore your employment experiences through a questionnaire to assess your current position on the job readiness scale.

Coaching Services
Next, you'll enter our coaching service, which includes a comprehensive workbook and access to an online portal. Over 12 weeks, we’ll guide you each step of the way. Once completed we continue working with you until you find the right opportunity.

Exploring Opportunities
When you’re ready, we’ll dive into different work options and types of employment. Before this, we’ll equip you with essential tools to understand your values, strengths, and transferable skills, empowering you to confidently share your story in the job market.

What's Next:
Bonus Section: Employment for Me!
In our bonus section, "Employment for Me!", we’ll teach you self-advocacy skills, provide insights into the employment market, and help you craft your resume and cover letters in your own words. You’ll also learn how to use AI effectively to enhance your application.

What happens after the Purposeful Job Quest program finishes?
When you complete the capacity building program, or during, we will help you explore different work options that suit your needs. Sometimes it wont be the dream job you were thinking, but when you know that you need some extra experience, we can get that from different types of workplace.

No career was ever as straight as a ladder.

We run the Purposeful Employer Programs (PEP) with businesses interested in becoming more inclusive in their recruitment practices and their workforce.  We can invite you to jump on board for a spot on one of these programs which is work immersion in group settings.

We can also provide you with on the job employment assistance to ensure that you keep your job and work with your employer to ensure they make necessary adjustments for you to keep your job.

Or your pathway may be a referral to a DES provider who can take you on a different route to your employment goal.

We will work with you and what you want to achieve.
How do I know if I can have access to NDIS Funding?
If you want to apply to the NDIS, connecting with a partner is a good first step. If you’re 9 or older it’s best to contact your local area coordinator (LAC). LAC's will help you understand the eligibility requirements, and what information and identification you need to give us. They will help you apply to the NDIS by submitting the application on your behalf. This means you don’t need to complete the access request form yourself.

You can submit the access request form or to get started, visit the office location page on the NDIS website or call NDIA on
1800 800 110.

Am I eligible?

Are you outcomes focused? Will you get me a job?
This is a good question.  We have had more than 7 years experience working with people who have disability and with inclusive employers.  By following our tried and tested framework, we put you in the best position to be employed and stay employed.  That's our part of the bargain at least.  We also understand that we may not be the best fit for you, in that case, we'll be proactive and help you find a provider who fits your needs better. We started this business solely to achieve outcomes in disability employment for people with disability.
What if I don't have NDIS funding, can I still get help from your service?
We can help anyone who has the desire to work and is not scared to put in the effort to achieve their goals.

Our prices are set according to the NDIS Price Guide, but we can provide services to anyone.

We would bill you directly for our hourly rate, as a pay-as-you-go style of service. Much like when you engage a tutor for school or study. We'll bill you weekly and you can provide us with 7 days before the date you want to change the frequency or stop services in writing (email) at anytime.

Get in contact at hello@aequistalent.com.au and we can provide you with a quotation. If this is still not an option, but you are still interested, get in contact anyway to discuss your situation.
Can I just do your employment coaching program without the weekly coaching?
Thanks for your question.

This is possible, however if you want to achieve results, we recommend that the coaching and mentoring needs to be included along with the Purposeful Job Hunter program.

This is how we get to know you better, you get to know yourself, your unique talents, skills and hopes setting you up for a job placement that is meaningful and relevant. How many times have you been placed in jobs or work experiences that don't align with your values and interests, or the employer is not an inclusive one?

Let's stack all of the odds in YOUR favour!
